Shoshone County Fire District No. 2 Volunteer Firefighters Association
Currently the Fire District has a roster of 20+ volunteers that give their time to receive training in various fire and medical services. The volunteers also assist the career firefighters on calls throughout the district; these include Medical, Rescue, Extrication, Haz-Mat, and Fire calls. In addition, the volunteers also participate in community activities such as parades, The 4th of July and Pinehurst Days celebrations, and the MDA Fill-The-Boot drive. Many of them are also members of the Idaho Volunteer Fire and Emergency Services Association.
